UITM'2021. Tourism celebration is going on!
On October 5-6, the 27th Ukraine International Travel Market - UITM'2021 was held at the Kyiv International Exhibition Center.
Ukraine International Travel Market - UITM for the 27th time had hosted guests from all over the world. Within two days on October 5 and 6, 2021, foreign and domestic travel companies have been presented new products, were created for the new Autumn-Winter 2021-2022 season. 2053 travel agents from all over Ukraine have been visited the exhibition and found new ideas for the rest for their tourists.
This year in the main exhibition of the Autumn-Winter season companies from 10 countries of the world were presented, among them: Bulgaria, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Lithuania, Maldives, Montenegro, Uzbekistan and Ukraine, For the first time, the Maldives islands were presented at the exhibition with the national stand.
Also this year, the section of IT products in tourism was widely represented. At the exposition there were the following participants:CardService, IT-Tour, tooroom, TravelLine, ADVA that provide a full range of support services to travel agencies, hotels and hotel chains, contribute to synergy between the key players of the tourism market in creating a perfect tourist product.
This year’s autumn exhibition UITM’2021 – it is really premier exhibition! Foe the first time the exhibition had the new format: Forum+Expo zone.
Within the frames of UITM,
UITM'2021 - the First International Forum of National Tourism Organizations (NTO) and Destination Management Organizations (DMO) has been held.
Welcoming words to all forum participants and all Ukrainian tourism business at the opening of the forum were made by WTTC - the World Tourism and Travel Council represented by Mr. George Ciallas, Regional Director for Europe and North Africa. The participants were also addressed by the WTCF - World Federation of Tourist Cities, represented by Mr.Chen Bo, Director General of Communications and Events of the World Federation of Tourist Cities. There was also warm welcome from the EPA - Extended Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe (EPA) represented by Mr.Stefano Dominioni, Executive Secretary, Extended Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes - Council of Europe (EPA), Director of the European Institute of Cultural Routes (EICR).
During the Forum, several panel discussions were took place. At the panel discussions there will be talks on the following topics: the new role and new challenges in work of the National Tourism Organizations (NTO) and Destination Management Organizations (DMO) will be considered in today's conditions of turbulence in the global tourism industry.
Representatives of 10 countries took part in the panel discussions of the Forum, among them: Argentina, Georgia (Adjara), Egypt, Cyprus, Italy, Spain (Valencia), South Africa, Hungary, Ukraine and Croatia. The forum is organized by joint efforts with the long-term strategic partner of the exhibition National Tourism Organization of Ukraine.
On the 5
th of October, there will be discussion “Gulf States tourists in Ukraine”. This year there was a real tourist boom of tourists from the Persian Gulf countries, discovering Ukraine. Representatives of inbound tourism operators of Ukraine, leading hotels, specialized associations, carriers have been shared their experience of working with tourists from the Middle East, discussed the results and achievements of the summer 2021, and also developed joint solutions for 2022. The co-organizer of the Forum is the Association of Inbound Tour Operators of Ukraine (AITAU).
This day was ended with a presentation of Ukrainian wines from Ukrainian wineries: Beikush, winery. Prince Trubetskoy, Odessos, Chizai.
October 6, for the first time within the frames of the Ukraine International Travel Market,
UITM'2021 - Forum of Travel Agencies of Ukraine has been held. It extended name: “Travel agent's assistant: must-have 2021-2022”.
The forum will be co-organized by the Ukrainian Association of Travel Agencies (UATA). Within the frames of the Forum the following topics have been discussed: practical issues of organizing the work of travel agencies, issues of elaboration and development of marketing components of agent’s work, presentation of working tools for creating an effective and profitable travel agency.
Traditionally, October 6, has been holding
the meeting of famous travelers of Ukraine with travel agencies –
TOKUDYDALI. This time travelers have been shared the secrets of how to realize a dream and combine work and dream.

the conference "Programme for supporting children tourism and youth mobility. «Travel Ukraine. Children» took place. It was organized by the Tourism Committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine and the Association of Children and Youth Tourism of Ukraine.
